Hag Sukkot(2)

Hag Sukkot has a custom of bringing four kinds of plants to the booth.
Each one traditionally symbolizes an aspect of the universal (Uranus) unity (Neptune) & also advise how to get there.

The first one is the Hadas ("הדס"-myrtle) which traditionally represents the universal unity of the past because every branch grows into three & hence leads (if going backwards) to the source of everything that contains everything (Pluto) & also is united (Neptune).
The advise of the Hadas is that although you're found in this world (represented traditionally by the letter Heh("ה")) which was created after this unity has gone, clinging to the essence of Mars (represented traditionally by the letter Daled-"ד" when the ego side of it is emphasized) will eventually make it possible to reach this unity again (represented traditionally by the letter Samech-"ס") which has Neptune's altruism.
The bottom line here is achieving Neptune's unity by working well on your ego (represented by Mars).

The second one is the Palm branch (lulav-"לולב") which traditionally represents the unity of the future because its leaves are combined together & this is going to be the structure of mankind in the enlightened world.
The Lulav's advise is mostly learning (the traditional letter of learning "ל"(lamed) is found twice & is represented by the sign Libra to emphasize the importance of seeing the two sides of the coin) but also combining the spirit(Saturn's airy side) to the matter (Saturn's earthy side) & which is represented traditionally by the letter Vav-"ו", all is expressed  in this learning.
Eventually this learning which combines matter & spirit must cope with the duality of this world (which starts with the uniqueness of Uranus & ends with the materialism of Saturn & traditionally represented by the letter Bet-"ב").
If you do this well, you're in the right way to reach this unity of the future.

The third one is the Arraba (withy-"ערבה") which traditionally represents the unity of the present when people are forced to be together by social culture as all withies are forced to live together near a source of water.
A shallow view will show that there is a unity but not a real one.
A deep view will show this is the recommended unity because no one misses his uniqueness (Uranus).
It's possible that the leaves of the Lulav miss their uniqueness because they are too connected to each other.
The first letter of this word is Ain("ע") which traditionally connected to the sign Capricorn.
The real (& deep) essence of Capricorn is to actualized the materialism in order to be free to touch the spirit.
The truth is that everyone should do it as much as he can in order not to miss his purpose of being here.
Only a shallow look at it will say it's concentrating on the materialism only.
When you actualize the essence of Capricorn you reach the next sign  Aquarius which is controlled by Uranus who gives you your uniqueness.
This is similar to what has been about the unity which is represented by the withy (above).
The second letter Resh ("ר") as already has been said represents new beginnings(the essence of Mars as controlling the first sign Aries) which in this case come after actualizing the essence of Capricorn (represented by the letter Ain ("ע") before it).
This is the key of understanding the word "ער"-er which means aware or awaken.
The real aware (or awaken) person actualizes the essence of the material world & this help him see the vast number of opportunities which come through his way.
As an aware (or awaken) person he deals with the duality of the creation (represented by the letter Bet ("ב")).
It's of course easy for him to do after actualizing the essence of Capricorn (represented by the letter Ain("ע"), by the way the letter Bet("ב") is represented by Saturn that controls Capricorn).
As the letter Bet also known as representing every creature in the creation, it's the key of understanding the word "ערב" which means guarantor.
Being Aware (or awaken)("ער") to every creature's wills, needs, etc'("ב") makes this person a guarantor("ערב").
When everyone is a guarantor to everyone in this world (represented traditionally by the last letter Heh ("ה")), the real unity finally is achieved.
This is the real & deep meaning of the word Arraba-"ערבה".

The fourth (& the last) one in the Etrog-"אתרוג" (citron) which traditionally represents the unity of all times as being durable all over the year.
The first letter is Alef ("א") which represents the essence of God (which exists all over the times) which is expressed by the three planets beyond Saturn's orbit (as mentioned in earlier posts).
The letter Tav("ת") that comes after it emphasizes it as signing it("tav" means sign in Hebrew).
If you adopt God's essence & become a regenerating (Pluto) giver (Neptune) according to your authenticity (Uranus), the vast number of new beginnings (represented by the letter Resh ("ר") which represents the essence of Mars) will open themselves to you and will expand in time because of Jupiter essence which is represented by the last letter Gimel ("ג").
The expansion over time (Jupiter's essence represented by the letter Gimel ("ג")) of the new beginnings (Mars's essence represented buy the letter Resh ("ר"))
is reached by connecting to God's essence as described above.
This helps you attain the universal principle (Uranus) of the Unity (Neptune) of all times (Pluto).

As seen at the post "Hag Sukkot 1" the booth helps you get Uranus's essence.
As seen here the four kinds of plants help you get Neptune's essence.
The end of the feast also helps you get Pluto's essence because at the last day of the feast you end reading all the Torah's lessons ("Parashot")  & you start it from the beginning again (regeneration).

David's day-the seventh day

The seventh day is known as the day that David (the king) visits our booth.
David represents the essence of earth, which is also the world we live in.
Earth's essence includes stability,practicality,materialism,etc'.
The connection to David is expressed by the fact that as a king he "ran" earth (so he had to have its essence to make his kingdom last).
This day gives a great chance to work on one of the worst characteristics of earth which is being stuck (physically, mentally, spiritually, etc') which usually (or even always) is derive from the basic fear from the change.
In this day we deeply observe the level of the actualization of this essence.
In other words we deeply check how practical, stable, material, etc' we're.
The challenge here is to reach the right level of this essence's qualities.
For instance it's not good to be too stable because you're going to be stuck but it's also not good not to have sufficient stability because you're going to live "in the air" while missing your mission in this world (which is an earthy world).
As this essence symbolizes this world itself it's not only important to develop this qualities but also it's important to merge the qualities of the other days & make them practically actualized.
This is the end of the transformation process where all the virtues of the planets we encounter the last days are balanced in the right proportion.
Of course the right proportion can be changed through the changing life but the point is the awareness to it.
Yes, the more you worked on it in the last days, the easier it's going to be.

Yosef's day-the sixth day

The sixth day is known as the day Yosef visits our booth.
Yosef represents the essence of the Moon (& the fiery side of Mars).
It's because the Moon & Mars are connected to the base (as representing basic instincts of reaction (the moon) & of initiation (Mars)).
Yosef was a base for the Egyptians to lean on through the years of the hunger & this is probably the connection to these planets.
The Moon also represents the mother, the family, the subconscious, the daily habits, etc'.
In this day we check our relationship with our mother.
Is it calm or tense most of the time?
Is our mother over-protective or the opposite of it?
Of course there are a lot of questions that we need to ask on this matter...
The challenge here is to reach the balance between our Independence & our bond to our mother which is basically dependent while having a relationship (with our mother)that we can truly live with it.
Of course this balance can be changed through the flow of life.
By the way we check our inner mother (the soft & sensitive side of ours which takes care of).
Are we a caring/sensitive persons enough?over-caring/sensitive or little?
We deeply check our life to see where we stand on this matter,we see where we missed being like that & why, change what's needed to be changed(for example if we came into a conclusion that we're over caring/sensitive while knowing that every case stands for itself) & keep doing it all the time.
We continue doing so about the relationship to our family in general.
It's also a chance to check deeply our daily habits to see which one delays us from achieving our goals or just living properly.
It's the time to initiate new things & to break the habits which we identified as a delaying habits.
It's very important to change a delaying habit with an initiation of a new thing as soon as possible in order to prevent this old habit from grasping on us(in this case it has no home to return to).
In addition we promise ourselves to continue doing so all the time because this is the key for our self growth.
More than that, it's also important to balance between the artistic side of Venus & the concrete side of Mercury than implement (by its communication) the artistic ideas of Venus.

Aharon's day-the fifth day

The fifth day of the feast is known as the day that Aharon visits our booth.
Aharon represents the essence of Mercury that includes communication, thinking, rationalism & movement.
Indeed, Aharon helped his brother Moshe (that described himself as a heavy talker) to communicate with the Jewish nation.
Aharon also took a rational attitude when he prefer the people to be sinners than rebellious in the case of the golden calf.
In this day we deeply observe our communication.
Do we talk a lot or a little?
Did we have a chance for communication that we missed?Where? When? Why?
Do we talk from the heart or our talking is artificial?
Whatever the answers are we promise ourselves to improve it (while flowing with life about the first question).
We do the same with our thinking.
We try to find a delaying patterns of thinking deriving from low self esteem, fears, etc'.
We promise ourselves to work on it & to turn it into a constructive pattern of life.
It's very important to change a delaying pattern with a constructive pattern as soon as possible in order to prevent the delaying pattern from clinging on you(in this case it has no home to return to).
An example of that can be saying:" I can do this,if not in this way then in other way & in the worst case it won't be perfect,so what?" instead of saying:"I can't do it, it's beyond my ability".
We check where we stand in our way of thinking.
Are we spontaneous or calculated most of the time?conservative or advanced?etc'.
We check the incidents which occurred in our lives (the more the better) to see how the way of our thinking affected it.
Was it after all a delaying pattern of life that failed us?
Did we have to be more spontaneous in order to succeed (we relatively failed for being over-calculated) or the opposite is true?
We ask the same about other extremes such as conservative/advanced thinking (again the more the better).
We promise ourselves to work on it, change where it's needed & of course continue doing so through the changing life.
This day also gives us a chance to work on the negative side of Mercury such as gossip & being two-faced.
As Mercury in connected to movement, it gives us a chance to realize how much do we listen to our body.
Do we walk well?
Do we change positions (from standing to walking & the opposite, from standing to sitting & the opposite, etc') well?
Yes, it's a lot of work but the more you invest in this work, the more healthy & growing you're going to be.

Moshe's (Moses's) day-the fourth day

The fourth day of the feast is known as the day that Moshe (Moses) visits our booth.
Moshe represents Venus essence.
It's shown by the fact that he received God's inspiration to write the Torah.
Venus is the level where the art receives a shape.
This is exactly what happened here.
The art (represented by God's inspiration) received its shape of the Ten Commandments written on a two stony boards.
Venus essence also includes satisfaction,art,love,beauty,balance,etc.
In this day we deeply observe the level of our satisfaction in life.
We see if there is something (that would make us satisfied) we wanted to do but never did although we wanted to.
It's time to seek for new pleasures even if they look small & simple.
From my experience the real pleasures are the small & the simple ones.
Of course we change & diverse them when it's needed through the flow of life.
It's time to seek & develop our art skills & to improve the art skills we already have.
Of course it's time to work on negative characteristics of Venus such as social pleasing.
We see how much love & beauty take place in our lives.
Do we lack of them or do we exaggerate in expressing them on the account of other things?
After answering this question we activate in accordance to it & continue doing so through the flow of life.
We check the balance in our life & improve ourselves in it when is needed & continue doing it all the time.
The more deep & thorough (Pluto's essence) we're in it, the better the results are going to be in it.

Ya'akov's day-the third day

The third day of the feast is known as the day that Ya'akov visits our booth.
Ya'akov represents the Sun which is our real inner self, our self actualization.
In this day we observe deeply the level of our self fulfillment.
Ya'akov is also the real ancestor of the Jews that have to be the light to the non-Jewish as the Sun enlights the solar system, this is apparently the connection between Ya'akov & the Sun.
We see where we need to improve ourselves in it & how.
We see how we're & what is needed to be changed.
It's also a chance to work on the negative sides of the sun such as the sensitivity to your ego.
In addition it's a chance to work on our relationship with our father (the Sun also represents the father) & of course the inner father (the father figure that's inside us).
This is also the day where we balance between Jupiter's essence of the first day & Saturn's essence of the second day.
indeed, Ya'akov does represent this balance & it can be seen even if we only look at his movements.
Unlike Abraham that walked all his life from place to place (Jupiter's expansion) & Yitzhak that stayed in his place even in the period of the hunger (Saturn's restriction), Ya'akov indeed balanced between the two (for example he moved (Jupiter) only when the reality forced him to (Saturn)).
We Balance between logic (Saturn's essence) & intuition (Jupiter's essence).
We deeply observe the level of both of them, we see where we're right or wrong following them (for instance guessing the character of a person standing next to us)to figure out where we stand in it& change what's needed to be changed.
In the end we reach the right balance between both that of course can be changed by the flow of life.
We do the same with the balance between realism & optimism.
We deeply observe our lives to see how realistic & optimistic we're.
We see where we failed & succeeded (in every area of life, from a simple test to earning millions in our business) & how optimistic & realistic we're during these events.
By doing that we change what is needed to be changed & reach the right balance between them & continue changing (if it's needed) through the flow of life.
We continue doing so with other characteristics of these two planets (the more the better).
We move between the expansions & credits of Jupiter & the restrictions & obligations of Saturn in order to reach our real self fulfillment.

Yitzhak's day-the second day

The second day of Hag Sukkot is known as the day that Yitzhak comes to visit our booth.
Yitzhak represents Saturn's essence (along with Mars, mostly the watery side of it).
Saturn represents seriousness, responsibility, logic, commitment, learning from the experience & above all restriction.
In this day we deeply observe in our life to see how responsible & seriuos we're about it.
We see where we should take responsibility but didn't.
We promise ourselves to be more responsible this year.
If we see that we're too much responsible in something (like being overprotective), we can always reduce that.
Of course we have to flow with life & change the level of responsibility according to it.
It's always good to observe life deeply to see the experiences we had & what we learned from them.
It's also always good to do so with all the characteristics of Saturn.
In addition it's a chance to work on the negative sides of Saturn such as toughness & pessimism.
After dealing with Saturn's essence it's going to be easier to deal with the watery side of Mars.
This is the time to deal with anger & it's rages (for example).

Abraham's day-the first day

This is the day that traditionally Abraham visits the booth.
Abraham represents Jupiter's essence (also Neptune's essence because the watery side of Jupiter controlled Pisces before the discovery of Neptune).
As known, Jupiter's essence characterizes in optimism, abundance, generosity, intuition, exaggeration, luck, success & above all is characterized in expansion.
In this day we observe how this essence affects our life.
We observe our life to see how optimistic we're in general.
We see where we missed being optimistic in order to improve ourselves in the future.
Of course if we come to a conclusion after a deep observation that we're too much optimistic, we restrict it.
We continue this process by letting the test of time (or the flow of life) help us figure out the right level of optimism we need that can be change in any point in our dynamic life).
We do the same with generosity.
We observe ourselves to see how generous we're (not necessarily financially).
We promise ourselves to improve ourselves in it in any case (enhancing if we find out a shortage & restricting any exaggeration in it).
Again, life always changes & therefore we have to pay attention to it & change the level of it if necessary.
By the way it's an opportunity to work on the negative sides of Jupiter such as exaggeration, hypocrisy & over-righteousness.
Of course we continue doing so with other characteristics of Jupiter (the more the better) to see mainly how can we expand our lives (in every possible area).
More than that, as this essence of Jupiter (including its watery essence) is the altruistic power of the universe it's very important to work on it (maybe because of that it's found in the first day of Hag Sukkot).

Hag Sukkot(1)

Hag Sukkot(Sukkot's feast-"חג סוכות") comes after Yom Kipur & is known as the end of the transformation's process.
Rosh Hashana is known as the beginning of this process when you first realize that your way of life needs a change(as seen Mars gives the drive to do this change).
Yom Kipur is known as the middle of this process when you start working on your Karma & cultivate the whole you(Pluto's essence is emphasized very strongly here & also Saturn's because you have to be very much responsible to this process).
The first letter of this feast is Samech ("ס") which traditionally represents the infinity(Pluto's essence) for having a shape of a circle(which regenerates itself constantly).
As being a closed letter (the circle is closed), it represents the closed or unrevealed (watery essence) side of it or actually of you.
Having help for the letter Vav ("ו") which comes after it & is known as a letter of connection, the essence of the letter Samech above gets contained by the letter Kaf ("כ").
The letter Kaf as seen in the previous post has Pluto's essence of containing everything.
Also as seen before, the letter Kaf is represented by the Sun which is the inner self that contains the whole you.
The entrance of the letter Samech's essence to the letter Kaf means that now you contain sides of yours that you didn't know of theirs existence.
More than that, the extrovert essence of the letter Kaf (the sun has an extrovert essence) helps the introvert essence of the letter Samech to express itself(also the letter Samech (despite having an introvert essence) represents the sign Sagittarius & therefore waits to expose itself).
Now all that was covered before become uncovered & you become fully aware of who you're & that's way it's the end of the transformation's process.
More than that, the cover of the booth is called "Schach" & is written "סכך" in order to show that God (represented by the regenerating infinity (also Pluto's essence) of the letter Samech) covers & protect you, the real inner you which is represented by the letter Kaf (the letter Samech traditionally also has a shape of a protecting wall).
The last letter in this word is Tav ("ת") which signs the end of this process (the word "tav" in Hebrew means a sign).
Also as being the last regular letter in the Hebrew's Alpha-Bet, this letter traditionally indicates a movement to other dimension, similar to the quantum jump of Uranus, that after it you truly become unique & authentic (exactly as its essence indicates).
As seen, this process starts with Mars & the new beginnings it initiates by its drive & will.
As seen in the post about Rosh hashana, this drive/will gets help from God itself(which his essence is expressed by the three Planets beyond Saturn's orbit) in order to implement the change/transformation.
Yom Kipur represents the peak of the process of the Change/transformation when you deal with your Karma (represented by Pluto & Saturn, this is also where Mars's drive/will slows down in order to contain these two essences).
Hag Sukot as seen now, it's the end of this process when you fully acquire Uranus's essence & truly become unique & authentic.
Uranus starts to express itself in this feast's custom of sitting in a temporary structure (booth-"sukka") which indicates the flow of life where everything changes & hence everything is actually temporary in oppose to the permanent house we live in.
More than that, the booth has simple things like paper's decorations inside so you realize that the real pleasure of this temporary life is found in the simple things of it.
This also helps your authenticity & uniqueness (represented by Uranus) grow.
In addition, we do some holes in the booth's cover in order to see the sky & through it to see the infinite(Pluto's essence) space (Uranus's essence).
In this case Pluto helps Uranus actualize itself to the fullest.
When Uranus's essence in you is fully actualized, it's more easy to gain Neptune's essence (that controls the last sign Pisces)which is the power of love & giving uniting the whole universe.
This is where the whole cycle (that started with Mars(that controls the first sign Aries) in Rosh Hashana) ends.
There's a custom in this feast of hosting one biblical personality each day of its seven days.
Together there are seven personality when each one represent a planet as we'll see in the next posts.

Yom Kipur

Yom Kipur ("יום כיפור") comes ten days after Rosh Hashana & it's known as the day of atonement.
If Rosh Hashana symbolizes a new beginnings (the first Hebrew letter Resh represents Mars,as shown in the previous post), Yom Kipur symbolizes the release from the Karma of the past.
Yom Kipur starts with the letter Kaf ("כ") which traditionally represents the sun.
The sun represents the inner self in astrology so the procedure of atonement must come from the deepest parts of the soul.
More than that, the shape of the letter Kaf traditionally looks like a bent stick which means that only modesty ("bent personality") can bind you to the sun's essence (the inner self).
In addition, the letter Kaf composes the word Kol ("כל") which means "everything".
The letter lamed ("ל") that comes after the letter Kaf is traditionally the letter of learning so learning the essence of the letter Kaf can develop the ability to contain everything(part of Pluto's essence).
Indeed, in the procedure of atonement you must contain the whole you.
You must have Pluto's essence, you have to be deep & thorough like it in order to contain the whole you.
Pluto is known as a Karmic planet so you have to have its essence in order to deal with your Karma & to release yourself of it.
The release from the Karma actualizes by the regeneration of the same Pluto.
The other letters Pe ("פ") & Resh ("ר") symbolizes the new beginnings(represented by Mars) that comes after the release from the Karma.
the letter Resh is more opened to the left than the letter Pe.
The fact that the less opened Pe comes before the more opened emphasize the gradation of this process (the hatch of the new beginnings opens itself gradually).
The process of atonement is gradual but not only because you must have Pluto's essence (depth & thoroughness in order to contain the whole you, as said above) but also because you have to develop Saturn's essence & to be responsible to who you're & what you do (it's known that Saturn develops everything gradually).
Saturn is also a Karmic planet & hence also emphasize the Karmic side of Yom Kipur.
Neptune which is also a Karmic planet takes place in Yom Kipur in general.
It helps you bind all the parts of your personality(which Pluto helps you to contain) & eventually helps you unite with the ultimate power of altruism which rules the whole universe (as much as a pride brings the egoism, the modesty (caused by this "bent personality") brings the alteruism & that's way Neptune takes place in this day in general).
Uranus also takes place in this day by making Yom Kipur a unique day which breaks the routine of fixed eating times & eventually helps to break your Karma in order to let your authenticity grow.

Rosh-Hashana

Rosh-Hashana is the first feast of the Jewish tradition.
As being the first one, it symbolizes new beginnings exactly as the sign Aries which is the first sign of the zodiac.
As symbolizing the end of the last year, together with what's said above,it expresses the Pluto's principle of regeneration.
Indeed, the Hebrew letters that compose this feast ("ראש השנה")  do express these principles.
the first letter which is Resh ("ר") is traditionally connected to new beginning as being in the first word in the bible ("ראשית"-reshit,the letter "ב"  that before it is a relative word that means "in" so it's not the letter that starts the word), which means beginning.
the word "Rosh" which start with this letter means head & hence also symbolizes (with a potential of containing & controlling it,after all the brain that control the whole body is found in the head) new beginning (exactly like a headline which is the first line of an article that actually contains & controls it).
More than that , if you switch the order of the letter "Resh" with the letter shin ("ש"), the word that is received is "she'erit" ("שארית") which means remain & hence this new word is connected to the end & this is where the principle of regeneration that is connected to Pluto is expressed(because it creates a bond between the beginning & the end).
It seems  that Mars actually actualizes itself here by implementing the principles of the letter Resh.
It starts with its drive in order to initiate a new beginning & ends with it's the highest point that it can achieve which is Pluto's essence of containing, controlling & of course regeneration.
It's known that Mars is connected to the basic instincts of survival as being connected to the base by representing the beginning.
It's also known that the regeneration is the ultimate survival!
Mars(or more correctly the person actualizing it's essence), which is represented by the letter Resh continues its journey to meet the letter Alef that comes after the letter Resh.
The letter Alef (as seen in the previous post) represents God.
God itself is represented by the principles of the three planets: Uranus, Neptune & Pluto which are beyond Saturn's orbit by being the unique (the one & the only) universal principle (represented by Uranus) of eternal & regenerating (represented by Pluto) giving (represented by Neptune).
It helps this person to reach the right way which is the altruism that based on this giving because the basic nature of Mars is the egoism.
When this person starts to go in this direction, he meets the letter Shin.
One of this letter's principle (as traditionally representing Pluto's essence) is the change (the word "change" in Hebrew is shinuy-"שינוי",which starts with this letter).
This change is the transformation of this person's soul & in other words it's the regeneration of the planet Pluto.

the other word-shana("שנה",which means "year".The "ה" which comes before the "ש" turns "a" to "the" & hence it's not part of the word), has both the letter "ש" which represent Pluto's essence & the letter "נ" which represents Scorpio's essence &hence emphasizes Pluto's essence of regeneration & transformation(Pluto controls Scorpio).
More that that, that year itself has the essence of Pluto as being a regenerating period of time, giving this process of self growth (from egoism(represented by the first sign,Aries to altruism(represented by the last sign,Pisces) to actualize itself in any point on it(when this process occurs inside the person's soul).
