The letter Bet

The letter Bet ("ב") is the second letter in the Hebrew alphabet.
This letter traditionally represents God's creation which has a dual aspect.
This representation of this dual aspect of God's creation comes from being the second letter.
This letter traditionally relates to Saturn Which contains all the essence of the materialistic world.
The materialistic world is known as a dual world having its opposites (beauty vs. ugliness, wealth vs. poverty ,etc').
Because of that Saturn also connected to this dual side.
More than that, Saturn is known as a separating planet & hence even having the potential to create this dual side.
The base line of this letter is a little bit larger that the top line directed to the back.
This direction to the back is actually to the letter Alef that comes before it.
It traditionally represents the aspiration of the creation (represented by the letter Bet) to reach God's essence (represented by the letter Alef).
That's why this letter is known to have its potential to bring down the spiritual world to the material world.
Saturn works in the same way.
It helps you actualize the materialistic essence in order to develop your spiritual side.
That's why the actualization of the last earthy sign Capricorn (ruled by Saturn) leads you to the sign Aquarius (ruled by Uranus which is also represented by the letter Alef) & then to the last sign Pisces (ruled by Neptune which represents the unity & the giving power of God).
Hence Saturn also has its potential to bring down the spiritual world to the material world.
This letter is also traditionally connected to the inner side of us.
Saturn also helps us develop our inner side as being a "hard teacher" who  insists on the truth.
It's known that the real me is the inner me.
This letter traditionally symbolizes a house because of its shape (the base line is the base, the top line is the roof (which is shorter than the base), the vertical line is the wall & the open left side is the open door of the house- this is the traditional sight of it).
Saturn is indirectly connected to it being the traditional ruler of house no. 10 which is the house of the mother who stays at home to help you actualize your career (house no. 10 is also the house of the career in astrology).
This letter is known to have the potential of learning one thing from another.
Saturn also has this potential by letting us learn from our experience.
This letter is also connected to the creatures of the creation which according to the Kaballah have the will to accept all pleasures that God (represented by the former letter Alef) gives.
This is what happen in this material world which Saturn is the highest point of it.
As seen the challenge of this letter (& Saturn of course) is to combine the two worlds (the spiritual & the material), to actualize the essence of the material world, to build it in the best way in order to let the spiritual world live inside it.
